copytext extracts the caption text from public Instagram posts you choose to share or paste. This page explains what data we handle.

What we process

The link you submit is sent to our server only to fetch the post's public caption. We do not store the links.
Saved captions. If you don't sign in, your saved captions stay on your device (local storage) and never reach us. If you sign in with Google, they are stored in our database so you can sync across devices.
Google sign-in. If you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google to create your account. We do not get your Google password.
Purchases. The "remove ads" purchase is processed by our payment provider (Paddle). We receive confirmation that your account is Pro; we never see your card details.
Advertising. If you accept cookies, our advertising partner may set cookies to show ads. You can decline; Pro users see no ads.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Advertising cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner.

You can delete saved captions in the app at any time, sign out, or decline advertising cookies. To delete your account and cloud data, contact us.
